The basis for student safety and well being starts in the home and parents are the primary educators. In the school, it is the teacher’s primary role to teach and encourage learning which supports, and is supported, by the parent. Parental support is essential in ensuring the good behaviour of their child.
Kyilla's values underpin the approach we take to build a positive school culture. We embrace these values in all that we do and actively promote them daily.
We promote a cooperative learning environment that is collaborative and embraces everyone.
We set high expectations so everyone can achieve their potiential in all areas of development.
We promote respect for self, peers, community and the environment. Individual differences and cultral diversity are embraced.
We promote active participation so everyone is engaged and working together.
